Ron and diane christmas special (2012)

There's always that heated debate between TV aficionados. Which is better: The Office US or Parks and Recreation? In our house its the latter thats the hands down favourite.

Parks and Recreation follows Leslie Knope, the deputy director of the Pawnee Parks Department and the absurd antics of her and her co-workers as they pursue sundry projects to make their city a better place.

In Ron and Diane, Ron's ex wife Tammy shows up at a wood working awards ceremony to sabotage Ron's new relationship with Tammy, and Tom, Donna, April and Andy are shocked that Jerry's throwing a Christmas party without them.

There's hilarity all round (of course) but the funniest part of the episode is when Leslie starts singing her “Merry Congratu-Christmas” jingle at the start of the show. Ron is not amused. But the absolute highlight has to be that after several seasons of teasing and mocking Jerry gets the ultimate revenge by having a super packed out Christmas party (that Tom, Donna, April, and Andy aren't invited to) and he has a drop dead gorgeous wife which leads Ben to exclaim, “Jerry’s wife . . . looks like that?” Don't worry Ben, we don't get it either.
