A small goat with big dreams gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball, a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world.
I will admit I walked intexpecting very little from it but my preconceptions were quickly proven wrong.
A small goat named Will gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball -- a high-intensity, full-contact sport that's dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world. Ridiculed by his teammates, Will becomes determined to revolutionize the sport and prove that "small can ball!"
While it is the typical underdog story we have seen 1000 times Goat is colourful, fast paced, witty and upbeat. It is great fun for the whole family.
The true standout is the animation - it is beautifully crafted. From how the sunlight shines off the water to the vibrant and detail filled vineland; every scene looks fantastic.
Goat is filled with great little messages from believing in yourself to the negative effects social media can have on people. It is a refreshing take on the very familiar underdog story, with great action, fantastic voice performances and a sweet soundtrack.
