A Simple Favor centres around Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a mommy vlogger who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily's (Blake Lively) sudden disappearance from their small town.
A Simple Favor is a stylish film with a slick soundtrack and a few martinis thrown in. Its well scripted, brilliantly cast and overall a very enjoyable and thrilling film from start to finish.
Blake Lively does a fantastic job playing Emily. She portrays the sexy city socialite with a bit of mystery about her very well.
Anna Kendrick is not someone I have ever been a fan of but i have to admit she has done an outstanding job in A Simple Favor playing Stephanie the full time mum/blogger come detective who starts to investigate her best friend Emilys disappearance after she goes missing.
The story is completely engrossing from the get go and you think its going in a particular direction and the rug is pulled out from under your feet.
A Simple Favour will keep you guessing and fully engrossed right from the start until the end credits.
