André the Giant is a 2018 TV documentary film based on the life of French professional wrestler and actor André René Roussimoff. The documentary covers André's life with gigantism.

Andre the Giant chronicles the life of the famous wrestler the eighth wonder of the world. The documentary explores who Andre really was and is a very interesting insight into what made the big man tick. 

 

The documentary delves into André Roussimoff’s early years as a wrestler, his loves, his struggles, all the way to stardom and his death. There are interviews with the people who knew him well Hulk Hogan, Mean Gene, Vince McMahon, Vince McMahon Sr., Billy Crystal, and many others. 

 

One part that was incredible was the interviews with the director and the cast of The Princess Bride. It was an interesting insight into Andre’s acting work and how he just wanted to be treated normally. 

 

People who love sport and celebrity documentaries will thoroughly enjoy Andre the Giant and learn the impact that he had not only on the professional wrestling world, but also on Western culture. 

An amazing insight into the life of not only an incredible wrestler but a man that greatly impacted Western culture.
