A tale of fathers and sons set against the harsh, Montana winter with great performances from Bomer and Wiggins.

walking out

It’s an easy film, with a few plot holes, the kind of movie you could watch on a rainy Sunday when there isn’t much else to do.

A QUIET PLACE

Silence has never sounded so good. A Quiet Place is one of the must watch films of 2018.

LOVE, SIMON

A film that has you laughing, crying and learning life lessons is hard to find to find fault in. And looking back at it, I simply can't.

A WRINKLE IN TIME

Although A Wrinkle in Time has good acting, stunning visual effects, and breathtaking New Zealand vistas, the lack of a cohesive story is reason enough to give this Disney outing a miss this time.

BLOCKERS

Blockers is one of those rare beasts that tackles two very different themes and generally pulls it off pretty well with a few belly laughs along the way.

AMERICAN PASTORAL

The premise is intriguing but overall the film is let down by its inconsistent pacing. In the hands of a more experienced film maker, American Pastoral may have been a completely different beast entirely.

PACIFIC RIM: UPRISING

Big robots fighting bigger aliens with an on form John Boyega, but its the story that lets down this team of Kajui fighters.

EARLY MAN

Heartfelt with a good dose of humour, Early Man is a film that both children and adults will enjoy.

PETER RABBIT

Cute, rascally animals and beautiful countryside don’t make up for a weak story that will leave both children and adults wanting more.

paul, the apostle of christ

Paul, The Apostle of Christ has its good moments, but using direct quotes from scripture as dialogue is ultimately its downfall.
