Fired for their previous shenanigans, former Vermont Highway Patrol officers Thorny, Farva, Rabbit, Foster and Mac get a shot at redemption from Capt. O'Hagan and Gov. Jessan. The wacky quintet must provide law enforcement for a French Canadian town that's transitioning to U.S. sovereignty. Their unconventional methods soon get put to the test when they encounter a smarmy mayor, mischievous Mounties, a smuggling ring and a 1,300-pound bear.
When Sean William Scott makes a celebrity cameo in a movie you could begin to suspect that the movie you are watching may not be the highest calibre. Spoiler alert William Scott make a cameo at the beginning of Supertroopers 2 and the film continues to head down hill from there.

The original Vermont Highway patrol gang are back and are helping to keep the peace as a French Canadian town transitions to U.S. sovereignty. They have to put up with locals that hate that they are becoming US citizens and stop a smuggling ring in its tracks.

Now I haven't seen the first Supertroopers so I don't know how it compares with the first but I would hope it would be a bit better than this.

The comedy is very much of the early 2000 variety - really wacky that makes no real sense or laughs at all. It just isn't funny and is way too extreme to be taken seriously. I tuned out after about twenty minutes.

If you're a fan of the original perhaps give it a go but Supertroopers 2 is probably the worst film I've seen this year.
