luis and the aliens

While Luis and the Aliens would make a fun holiday flick (you know, if you, as parent, need some quiet time), it does feel a little un-inspired and ordinary.

mega time squad

Mega Time Squad is going to be the next Kiwi cult classic.

the happytime murders

The Happytime Murders is a strange mix of Who Framed Roger Rabbit meets Team America but without the solid staying power of either.

the meg

Unfortunately The Meg packs little bite but the performance of young star Sophia Cai is a wonder to behold.

Clever, fun, and sobering all at once. BlacKkKlansman is one of the best surprises of the year and the movie we all need.

the darkest minds

The unfortunate thing for The Darkest Minds is all that has come before it. A fun watch that falls a little short for its genre.

THE SPY WHO DUMPED ME - Starring Mila Ku

book club

A heart felt laugh fest that will leave a smile on your face long after you've left the cinema.

the spy who dumped me

The Spy Who Dumped me is a crowd pleaser, so grab your best friend, invite your brother, take your girlfriend, and or enlist your mother and get out of the wind and the rain and enjoy a few belly laughs.

At times the pace is a little pedestrian but all can be forgiven in light of Woody Harrelson's terrific performance.

mission: impossible - fallout

M:I - Fallout  never relents in action, plot, and pace. One of the best action films to be released in a long time. Find the biggest screen in town and go see it. You won't be disappointed.
